Our elected community group is dedicated to improving the South of Market
neighborhood by working with neighbors, businesses, Community Based
Organizations, and the Redevelopment Agency, by providing advice,
recommendations and direction for the revitalization of the South of Market
Redevelopment Project Area . We invite you to apply for one of the vacancies
above by calling our office (487-2166) or drop by 1035 Folsom Street at 6th
Street to learn more about our Committee’s priorities and programs in Housing,
Crime & Safety, Economic, Employment & Business Development and Human
Services. |

CANDIDATES MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD, MEET THE SEAT REQUIREMENTS AND
RESIDE WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA
Residents must have resided within the Project Area for the past 30 days and
present proof of residence.
Business Owners and Service Organizations must present specified proof.
Please send a letter of interest to SOMPAC Chair, 1035 Folsom Street,
San Francisco, CA 94103. You must
submit your letter by Friday, July 11, 2008 5:00
PM, and present evidence of
meeting the minimum seat requirements at the Executive Committee Meeting on
Monday, July 14, 2008 at 12:00 Noon (or another prearranged time) at 1035
Folsom Street, to become a formal candidate. Candidates will be elected to fill any or all vacancies at the regular
SOMPAC Meeting on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 6:00 PM, 1035 Folsom Street at
Sixth Street. |
